We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage our financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and requirements, preparing and filing tax returns as necessary.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and control company expenses, implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate.
- Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
- Internal Controls: Develop and implement effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) to maintain financial records and generate reports.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
