We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee and manage our diverse range of projects, including biomedical waste management, animal control, SaferHome, and disaster vulnerability audits.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordination: Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information across different teams.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and deadlines.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are completed within allocated resources.
- Quality Control: Ensure all projects meet high standards of quality and compliance with regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, plans, and records.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution.
- Performance Tracking: Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, reporting on progress to senior management.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or coordination, preferably in waste management, disaster management, or a related field.
- Project Management Skills: Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities.
- Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is an advantage.
